Step 1: Choose Your Barrier Rail
Select the type of Armco barrier rail:
- 1.6m Armco Barrier Galv/Yellow – ideal for flexible layouts and tighter spaces
- 3.2m Armco Barrier Galv/Yellow – fewer joins, faster installation for longer runs
Step 2: Enter Your Barrier Length
Start by entering the total length (in metres) of barrier you need.
The calculator will automatically determine how many rails are required based on your selection.
Step 3: Select Your Post Type
Choose how your barrier will be supported:
- Dig In RSJ Posts – maximum strength for high-impact areas
- Dig In Z Posts – cost-effective for lower-impact environments
- Bolt Down RSJ Posts – heavy-duty surface-mounted option
- Bolt Down Z Posts – lightweight and easier to install

Step 4: Add Fixings
Fixings are required to securely assemble your barrier system:
- M16 x 50mm Armco Barrier Post Bolt – connects rails to posts
- M16 x 35mm Armco Barrier Lap Bolt – connects rails together
These ensure a strong and secure installation.
Step 5: Add Corners
If your barrier changes direction, you’ll need corner sections:
- Armco Internal 90 Degree Corner Section – Galv
- Armco External 90 Degree Corner Section – Galv
- Armco 135 Degree Internal Corner – Galv
